Speech and language program is one of AHS major programs that aims to improve the quality of life in the communication domain. Over the years, due to recognition of the quality we provide, AHS received many referrals from parents, families, and teachers as well as from pediatricians, Neurologists Consultants and other health and education professionals. AHS emphasis on providing high quality, individualized speech and language assessment and intervention services to children and kids.

Expected Benefit and Target Population:
The purpose of the program is to receive all persons with and without disabilities of all ages who need speech and language therapy for different reasons: surgery, illness, injury, voice disorders, cognitive problems, speech delays, neurological disorders, swallowing difficulties and other conditions.

1. Empowering large numbers parents, families, professionals in different domains (rehabilitation, academic and heal wise) on the importance of speech language therapy.
2. Provide speech language therapy to large numbers of persons who have speech and language difficulties

Ø Speech language pathologist
Ms .Ala’a Bani Mustafa , speech and language pathologist at AHS . She holds master degree in speech language pathology and Bachelor degree in speech and hearing sciences from university of Jordan. 10 yrs of experience in the early intervention, school and outpatient program. She is specialized in assessment and treatment of children and adults with different diagnosis with specific focus on persons with physical disabilities.
